The 184 MB Floppy Disc Curtain..!

Rainy day activity:

1: Aquire a huge box of old Floppy Discs (Good luck finding them)

2: Copper wire! Lots of fairly thick gage, yet bendable wire to make jump rings with..

3: (Below) Copper wire & Wire Cutters..

4: Also very handy, an old adjustable three hole punch. Adjust this so you’re punching the very corners of the disc on both sides. Perfect registration is going to make things look a whole lot easiser for you, and look a whole lot better in the end..

5: Enlist a helper monkey! You’re going to spend the afternoon cursing, punching holes through plastic vinyl and linking things together with the jump rings you’ve made..

The finished product will be a nice curtain any uber-nerd will be proud to own! I’ll post a finished picture of the final curtain hanging in my studio, as soon as I get access to my better camera. Sorry for the lousy camera phone pics! And to those who say I’ve ruined this slice of computer history.. The punch never punches through the actual discs themselves. If anyone’s interested in a copy of Windows NT Server 3.1…

Testing out Ed Holloway’s Ink Blog plugin.. along with Windows Live Writer Beta.

Ahh, the option to open posts in a new window, instead of inside my frameset..

I belive that this is the future way I’ll post to my MT powered Blog..
