HERE is the short animation that I just finished for Basic Rights Oregon / EROI. (Flash) It was fun drawing ol' Tim Nashif. I even got to give him a tiny hat..
This sort of discrimination... words fail me, and this project was a pleasure to work on.

Of course, money always talks, (within reason)
With the help of two talented programmers, myself, and a barrel of guts, we're starting a small independent video game creation company.
Our first production? A 2-D side scrolling old school beat-em-up / action game tenatively called "Kung Foo Dogg!", done in full cel animation, by yours truly. Stay tuned..!

-I've quit working with the studio I mentioned in previous posts. I'm no longer willing to work for less money than I did when I started my career, and longer hours for people who "just don't have the money in the budget.." Someone needs to do a long long look at the animation industry in Portland / the Northwest. The film union here dosen't cover animators in any fashion, which is unfortunate. Possibly due to the fact that there isn't actually a lot of production going on, or that many studios in town. (Actually the workers at Vinton Studios tried unsuccessfully in the 80's / early 90's to unionize, but it ultimately failed) -So you have people doing constant $80,000 and upward commercials who hire people as employees, (often interns) pay very low wages, and implement manditory long work hours... And there's always another hungry artist in line to do the work if you won't accept a contract.. *rant rave!*
